Comments

The AI can read your comments and, if you allow it, moderate them and reply. A typical request:

Show me this week’s pending comments, approve the ones that are genuine and mark the spam.

list-comments lists comments by status: all (approved and pending, the default), hold (pending), approve, spam or trash, filtered by post or text. For each comment the AI gets the author’s name, the text, the date, the status and the link. It never gets the commenter’s email, IP address, browser or website.

These two tools start disabled, because what they do is visible outside the site: the commenter sees their comment approved or your reply. Turn them on in RealMCP → Tools if you want them.

  • moderate-comment approves, holds, marks as spam or moves to the trash. Trash can be undone from WordPress; nothing is deleted permanently.
  • reply-comment publishes a reply as the connected user. The AI is told to reply only when you ask, and to show you the text first.

All comment tools need the moderate_comments capability (Editors and Administrators).

Comments are written by visitors, and a comment could try to give the AI orders (“ignore your instructions and…”). RealMCP tells the AI to treat comment text as data, never as instructions. Even so, review what it proposes before approving or replying in bulk.
